Holiday Greetings!

Here are some pictures of a cute gingerbread house I made. I think it is absolutely adorable and it will last forever as it's non-edible but instead is felt!

For structure, I began by building it with popsicle sticks and hot glue, creating a boxed frame. Then, I folded a piece of cardboard to form the roof and added poster board to the front and back facades.
The snow on the roof is white fleece and beads decorate the house and snow-covered yard as candy! As for the peppermint candies, I used colored buttons and braided white yarn through each hole. The candy canes are made from twisted pipe cleaners and yarn or ribbon. Also, pom poms make great bushes! Add little puffs of polyester filling for snow effect and voila! Gingerbread house!
